Fantastic place! the accommodation was newly renovated, with everything clean and new. the staff were welcoming and gave us a tour upon arrival. the dinner offered was absolutely fantastic, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. the highlight was definitely the beautiful hot springs, surrounded by scenic views. We also loved the helpfulness of the staff, always ready to offer advice and assistance. Another plus was the easy access to hiking opportunities in the Icelandic wilderness, making it a great location for nature lovers.

The staff seemed a bit unhappy to answer questions, and we noticed a lot of rubbish flying around the property due to the unsecured rubbish containers. Although they promised to clean it up, we didn't see any action taken before we left.

Recently stayed at Laugarfell for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location of the hotel was breathtaking, as it was situated high up and provided stunning views. The chalet-style accommodation added a unique touch, with shared toilets upstairs and a hot tub downstairs for a relaxing soak. The dinner offered was delicious and the opportunity to chat with other travelers was a nice bonus. a great place to stay for a memorable trip.

As young holiday goers, we loved the remote and accessible location. The hot spring baths were excellent and we enjoyed soaking until late at night. The hike to Faxi waterfall was breathtaking, with several other waterfalls along the river. The dinner and breakfast served were hearty, healthy, and delicious. The accommodation was newly renovated and everything was clean. The staff was welcoming and showed us around. The outdoor bath offered a fabulous and scenic view.

The maintenance work being conducted during our stay was a bit inconvenient and took away from the overall experience. The lack of proper restroom amenities, such as paper towels and toilet paper, was a letdown and made it less convenient for guests.
